February is here.  Seems like just yesterday we were saying Happy New Year!

January was filled with tons of travel and many amazing schools.  The Say No To Bullying show headed out to Pittsburgh for:
Blessed Trinity, Evans City Elementary, Connoquenessing Valley Elementary, Haine Elementary and Rowan Elementary.  Great schools, great district and amazing kids.  Happy to say they’ll all re-booked for next year.

Back home in WNY, we were at St. Amelia’s, St Mary’s and William Street School in Lancaster.

William Street School has a special place in my heart.  It’s the joining place where all the elementary schools in Lancaster meet up for fourth thru sixth grade.  I’ve had such a great relationship with all the elementary schools in Lancaster over the years, it’s pretty special to look out and see kids from all four elementary schools becoming friends and exploring new beginnings.  Most of these kids I’ve known since Kindergarten and to see them grow up and turn into young adults who want to be leaders and superstars in their school and community is simply AMAZING!  We’ve got some great kids here in Lancaster and I’m very proud of all of them.

Things slow down a little for the show in February.  With winter break, school is off for 9 days.  It’s a great time for students (and teachers) to rest up and get ready to attack the rest of the school year.  February also brings groundhogs day (he saw his shadow UGH), the Superbowl (let’s go eagles) and Valentines day.  Let’s all take the time to tell that someone special just how much they mean to you.  Husband, wife, kids, Nick Foles, the groundhog, whoever.  Let them know how much you care about them and how important they are in your lives.  The world need that right now more than ever.
